Our History

In God’s providence, our church began in June, 2002 as a daughter church, split off from the Vineland Free Reformed congregation, due to much growth there. We began worship services in the gymnasium of the Wellandport Christian School with 40 families. We continued to grow and were privileged to receive Pastor Moerdyk as our pastor in February 2003. Our membership continued to rise, and we were blessed with our own church building.

Pastor Bergsma is our Pastor since July 2010. He came to us from the London, Ontario congregation.

In 2019 Pastor Bergsma fully retired from active ministry in our church and pastor Mark Wagenaar is now our new pastor.

Our denominational affiliation is with the Free Reformed Churches of North America, with congregations in both Canada and the United States. We are also affiliated is with the Christelijke Gereformeerde Kerken in the Netherlands.
